Scottsdale 2005 Lot #977 - This car comes from the collection of Larry Gerig and has been on display at the Corvette Classics Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A very rare Corvette believed to be the ONLY 1965 with the combination of these rare options: RPO#NO3-36 gallon gas tank option-one of only 41 ever built; RPO#J61-drum brake option (power); RPO#L84-375 horsepower fuel injected engine. Additionally it has RPOs A01 (tinted windows), A02 (tinted windshield), G81 (positraction rear axle), M20 (4-speed manual transmission), N11 (off road exhaust), N32 (teakwood steering wheel), N36 (telescopic steering column) and P48 (cast aluminum knock-off wheels). This vehicle was documented in the national registry in 1980. This vehicle has won the following awards: Bloomington Gold, Triple Crown, Top Flight, and Gold Spinner. |
